Theory Hub UK Theory Test

What's the maximum authorised mass (MAM) of a category B zero emissions vehicle with an electric or hydrogen-powered engine?

Why this is the answer

Due to the additional battery weight, you can drive an electric or hydrogen-powered zero emissions vehicle up to a MAM of 4.25 tonnes on a category B licence.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
3 tonnes — Three tonnes is below even the ordinary category limit.
B
3.5 tonnes — 3.5 tonnes is the figure for a conventional vehicle.
D
7.5 tonnes — 7.5 tonnes belongs to category C1.
