UK theory test in Persian (Farsi)
Persian is not one of the languages the theory test is offered in — nothing is, apart from English and Welsh. But nothing stops you learning the material in Persian. Every revision question on this site carries its Persian translation directly beneath the English, so the two versions build on each other.

What a question looks like
English
What's the national speed limit for a car or motorcycle on a motorway?
Answer: 70 mph
فارسی
محدودیت سرعت ملی خودرو یا موتورسیکلت در اتوبان چقدر است؟
۷۰ مایل در ساعت
The Persian answer is written with Persian digits, the English one in miles per hour. Both matter: you think in one, and the exam screen shows the other.
Persian uses the Perso-Arabic script and reads right to left. The Persian pages are laid out right to left throughout, including the numbers as they are normally written.
What is worth extra attention
Speed limits, distances and stopping distances all appear in miles and feet, not kilometres and metres. Those numbers come up throughout the bank, so the conversion stops being something you calculate and becomes something you remember.
Can I sit the test in Persian?
No. Foreign-language voiceovers and interpreters were withdrawn in 2014, and the test is now English or Welsh only. There is support available if you find reading difficult or you are deaf — what you can and cannot ask for.
