Theory Hub UK Theory Test

Sources and licence

If you have revised anywhere else, the questions on this site will look familiar. They should. This page sets out exactly which part of each page comes from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency and which part we wrote.

What comes from DVSA

Theory Hub licenses the DVSA revision question bank. The licence requires the material to be reproduced unaltered, so the following appear here word for word:

What we wrote

Everything else on the site is our own work and is not part of the DVSA material:

Why the questions match other sites

Every site that licenses the bank receives the same text and is required to publish it unchanged. Rewording a question would make it a different question, and would break the licence. So identical question text across revision sites is a condition of using the material properly, not a sign that one of them copied another. What differs between sites is everything built around the questions — and on this site that is the commentary, the guides and the eight languages.
