What does this sign mean?
- A Give way to oncoming vehicles
- B Approaching traffic passes you on both sides
- C Turn off at the next available junction
- D Pass either side to get to the same destination
Why this is the answer
These signs are often seen in one-way streets that have more than one lane. When you see this sign, use the route that's the most convenient and does not require a late change of direction.
Why the other answers don't fit
- A
- Give way to oncoming vehicles — That is a priority sign, and it looks quite different.
- B
- Approaching traffic passes you on both sides — Nothing approaches you from behind an obstruction like this.
- C
- Turn off at the next available junction — An instruction to leave the road would say so.
