Theory Hub UK Theory Test

You're at the scene of a collision. People are injured. What should be done when the risk of further collisions has been dealt with?

Why this is the answer

Make sure you or someone else has called the emergency services. Check the casualties and, if you feel able to give first aid, do so. Alternatively, ask any bystanders if they can help.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
Pull people who are hurt out of their vehicles — Pulling people out can turn an injury you cannot see into a permanent one.
B
Clear a parking area for the emergency services — The emergency services will find room; nobody needs you to clear a car park.
D
Get the casualties to drink something sweet — Anything to drink delays surgery.
