You're checking your direction indicators. How many times per second must they flash?
- A Between 1 and 2 times
- B Between 3 and 4 times
- C Between 5 and 6 times
- D Between 7 and 8 times
Why this is the answer
You should check that all your lights work properly before every journey. If you’re not sure whether your signals can be seen, you can use arm signals as well to make your intentions clear; avoid this if you're riding at speed because it can upset your stability.
Why the other answers don't fit
- B
- Between 3 and 4 times — 3 to 4 times a second would be the rapid flash that usually means a bulb has failed.
- C
- Between 5 and 6 times — 5 to 6 times a second is far faster than any indicator is allowed to flash.
- D
- Between 7 and 8 times — 7 to 8 times a second would be a flicker rather than a signal.
