Theory Hub UK Theory Test

When may you drive without wearing your seat belt?

Why this is the answer

You may remove your seat belt while you're carrying out a manoeuvre that includes reversing. However, you must remember to put it back on again before you resume driving.

Why the other answers don't fit

B
When you're moving off on a hill — A hill start does not call for any extra movement from you.
C
When you're testing your brakes — Testing your brakes is ordinary driving.
D
When you're driving slowly in queuing traffic — Slow traffic is still traffic, and a belt still matters in it.
