Theory Hub UK Theory Test

What should you do if another driver does something that upsets you?

Why this is the answer

Sometimes other drivers or riders make a mistake. If this happens, try not to let it worry you. Do not react by sounding the horn, flashing your headlights or shouting at the other driver; it will not help the situation. A professional driver will remain calm and stay focused on their driving.

Why the other answers don't fit

B
Let them know how you feel — Telling someone how you feel on the road escalates rather than resolves.
C
Flash your headlights several times — Repeated flashing is aggression dressed up as a signal.
D
Sound your horn — The horn is a warning, not a way of expressing anger.
