What does this sign mean?
- A Slippery road
- B Double bend
- C Overhead electrified cable
- D Cable laying ahead
Why this is the answer
It's essential to know the height of your vehicle before setting off. This should be clearly marked, usually in the cab, and visible from the driving position. Look out for restrictions that you may not have seen on a map - they may be temporary.
Why the other answers don't fit
- A
- Slippery road — A slippery road shows a car with skid marks.
- B
- Double bend — A double bend shows the road swinging twice.
- D
- Cable laying ahead — Cable laying is a roadworks sign with its own wording.
