Theory Hub UK Theory Test

You're scheduled to make a delivery. You arrive at your destination during the morning rush hour. The road is edged with double red lines. What do they mean?

Why this is the answer

White boxes allow you to unload at any time, but during the day the length of stay is restricted. You should check nearby signs for the specific times. At other times, when it's not so busy, there may not be any restrictions on parking.

Why the other answers don't fit

B
Unload only within a 'red box' area — There is no such thing as a red box for unloading.
C
Delay your delivery until after the rush hour — Waiting out the rush hour is not what the markings require.
D
Limit your stop to a maximum of 30 minutes — No thirty-minute allowance applies on double red lines.
