Theory Hub UK Theory Test

You're about to turn right. What should you do just before you turn?

Why this is the answer

When you're turning right, plan your approach to the junction. Signal and select the correct gear in good time. Just before you turn, take a lifesaver glance for a final check behind and to the side of you.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
Give the correct signal — Signalling tells others what you intend. It does not tell you whether anyone is alongside you.
C
Select the correct gear — The right gear keeps the bike steady through the turn, but the gear lever shows you nothing behind.
D
Get in position ready for the turn — Positioning comes earlier in the routine. The last thing before you turn is the glance, not the place.
