What's a vehicle's turning circle?

Why this is the answer

You should be familiar with the room your vehicle needs to make turns or carry out a manoeuvre. You'll need to consider this as you approach junctions and road layouts. If you're driving a new or temporary vehicle, familiarise yourself with its characteristics before you drive on public roads.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
The number of turns of the steering wheel between locks — Turns of the wheel between locks is the steering ratio.
C
The amount by which the vehicle overhangs kerbs — Overhanging the kerb is the swing, which is a different measurement.
D
The distance by which a vehicle cuts corners — Cutting corners is what the rear wheels do, measured as cut-in.
