Which sign means turn left ahead?

Why this is the answer

Blue circles tell you what you must do and this sign gives a clear instruction to turn left ahead. You should be looking out for signs at all times and know what they mean.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
— Three arrows in a circle is the mini-roundabout sign. You go round it rather than turn left at it.
C
— A single diagonal arrow means keep left — pass this side of an island. The road itself does not turn.
D
— Two diagonal arrows mean you may pass on either side of what is ahead, so neither direction is ordered.
