قاعدهٔ ۱۳۰ — نواحی خط‌های مورب سفید
نواحی خط‌های مورب سفید یا شورون که روی جاده کشیده شده‌اند. این‌ها برای جداکردن خط‌های ترافیک یا محافظت از ترافیکی است که به راست می‌پیچد.
- اگر گرداگرد ناحیه خط سفید بریده باشد، نباید وارد آن شوید مگر لازم باشد و ببینید که ایمن است.
- اگر ناحیه با شورون مشخص و با خط سفید ممتد محصور شده باشد، ورود به آن ممنوع است (MUST NOT) مگر در شرایط اضطراری.
چرا حروف بزرگ مهم‌اند The Highway Code یک قاعده را با حروف بزرگ — MUST یا MUST NOT — می‌نویسد وقتی پشتوانهٔ قانونی دارد، و نقض آن جرم کیفری است. قاعده‌هایی که حروف بزرگ ندارند توصیه‌اند.

Areas of white diagonal stripes or chevrons painted on the road. These are to separate traffic lanes or to protect traffic turning right.
- If the area is bordered by a broken white line, you should not enter the area unless it is necessary and you can see that it is safe to do so.
- If the area is marked with chevrons and bordered by solid white lines you MUST NOT enter it except in an emergency.
