Theory Hub UK Theory Test

Your car's front wheels are out of balance. How will this affect your car?

Why this is the answer

If your front wheels are out of balance, the steering may vibrate. You'll have to take your vehicle to a garage or tyre-fitting firm, where they can balance your wheels; it's not a fault that will rectify itself.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
The steering could feel lighter — Light steering points to lost grip or lost assistance, not to imbalance.
B
The brakes could fail — The brakes are a separate system.
C
The tyres could deflate — Balance has nothing to do with whether a tyre holds air.
