Theory Hub UK Theory Test

Your bus is accessible to wheelchair users. In what situation can you refuse to allow them access?

Why this is the answer

It's illegal for bus and coach operators to discriminate against people with disabilities. You must always make reasonable adjustments to the way that any service is provided. This means that you must allow wheelchair users access to the designated space - unless it's already been taken by another wheelchair user.

Why the other answers don't fit

B
When you're running behind schedule — Running late is never a reason to refuse a passenger.
C
When traffic behind you will be held up — Traffic waiting behind you does not override someone's right to board.
D
When you're shortly due to take a break — Your break is scheduled around the service, not the other way round.
