Theory Hub UK Theory Test

You want to turn right at a box junction. What should you do if there's oncoming traffic?

Why this is the answer

You can wait in the box junction as long as your exit is clear. At some point there'll be a gap in the oncoming traffic, or the traffic lights will change, allowing you to proceed.

Why the other answers don't fit

B
Wait before the junction until it's clear of all traffic — You would block the traffic behind you for no reason.
C
Drive on; you cannot turn right at a box junction — Turning right is the one thing you may wait in the box for.
D
Drive slowly into the box junction when signalled by oncoming traffic — Another driver's signal is not permission. Your exit is what decides it.
