What should your pillion passenger do while you're riding around a bend?

Why this is the answer

A pillion passenger should not give signals or look around for you - that's your responsibility as the rider. If your passenger has never been on a motorcycle before, make sure they know that they need to lean with you when going around bends.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
Give arm signals for you — Signals are the rider's job, and a passenger's arm out will be read as something else.
B
Check behind for other vehicles — Checking behind turns the passenger's body and shifts the weight mid-bend.
D
Lean to one side to see ahead — Leaning out to see ahead works against the machine just when it needs to be leaning in.
