मुड़ना। बाईं ओर के जंक्शन के पास पहुँचते समय उन वाहनों पर नज़र रखें जो साइड रोड से निकलकर या उसमें घुसकर आपके सामने मुड़ रहे हों। अगर आप बाएँ मुड़ना चाहते हैं, तो संकेत देने से पहले दूसरे साइकिल या मोटरसाइकिल चालकों की जाँच कर लें। बाएँ मुड़ने के लिए संकेत दे रहे या धीमे हो रहे वाहनों के अंदर की तरफ़ से न चलें।
अगर आप दाएँ मुड़ रहे हैं, तो यातायात देखकर सुनिश्चित करें कि यह सुरक्षित है, फिर संकेत दें और सड़क के बीच की ओर आ जाएँ। सामने से आते यातायात में सुरक्षित अंतराल का इंतज़ार करें और मोड़ पूरा करने से पहले आख़िरी बार देख लें। सुरक्षित अंतराल आने तक बाईं ओर इंतज़ार करना, या साइकिल से उतरकर उसे धकेलते हुए सड़क पार करना ज़्यादा सुरक्षित हो सकता है।
किसी साइड रोड में मुड़ते या उससे निकलते समय, आपको सड़क पार कर रहे या पार करने का इंतज़ार कर रहे पैदल यात्रियों को रास्ता देना चाहिए (देखें नियम H2)।
सलाह है, क़ानून नहीं यह नियम बड़े अक्षरों में नहीं लिखा है, इसलिए इसका उल्लंघन अपने आप में अपराध नहीं — पर अदालत में ज़िम्मेदारी तय करने के लिए इसका हवाला दिया जा सकता है। केवल MUST या MUST NOT वाले नियमों के पीछे क़ानून होता है।

Turning. When approaching a junction on the left, watch out for vehicles turning in front of you, out of or into the side road. If you intend to turn left, check first for other cyclists or motorcyclists before signalling. Do not ride on the inside of vehicles signalling or slowing down to turn left.
If you are turning right, check the traffic to ensure it is safe, then signal and move to the centre of the road. Wait until there is a safe gap in the oncoming traffic and give a final look before completing the turn. It may be safer to wait on the left until there is a safe gap or to dismount and push your cycle across the road.
When turning into or out of a side road, you should give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross (see Rule H2).
