Theory Hub UK Theory Test

You've stopped at the scene of an incident where there are casualties. What should you do to help while waiting for the emergency services to arrive?

Why this is the answer

If you stop to give help at an incident and there are casualties, do not move injured people unless there's further danger. Keep them warm, comfortable and calm. Do not give them anything to drink.

Why the other answers don't fit

B
Clear debris from the road — Clearing debris puts you in the road and destroys evidence the investigators need.
C
Keep injured people on the move by walking them around — Walking an injured person about can turn a hidden injury into a lasting one.
D
Give injured people a warm drink — Anything to drink delays surgery, and an injured person may need it.
