Theory Hub UK Theory Test

Which sign shows that you're entering a one-way system?

Why this is the answer

If the road has 2 lanes, you can use either lane and overtake on either side. Use the lane that’s more convenient for your destination unless signs or road markings indicate otherwise.

Why the other answers don't fit

A
— The crossed-out U-turn forbids one manoeuvre. Two-way roads carry that sign as often as one-way ones.
C
— The red ring means give way to oncoming vehicles — so traffic comes the other way, and the road is not one-way.
D
— This gives you priority over oncoming vehicles. There is still oncoming traffic, so the road runs both ways.
