Theory Hub UK Theory Test

What should an instructor do when they see their pupil commit a driving fault?

Why this is the answer

Once identified, driving faults should be addressed at the earliest opportunity. A fault should be looked upon as a chance to teach the point and to encourage a change for the better in the pupil's driving.

Why the other answers don't fit

B
Always tell them it's a fault on the driving test — Framing everything as a test fault teaches the test rather than the driving.
C
Ignore it and continue with the lesson — Ignoring it lets the fault set as a habit.
D
Talk about it at the end of the lesson — By the end of the lesson the moment and its detail have gone.
